It's hard to believe Oct. 31st is just around the corner. We are a big Halloween family here-and I love to dress my kiddos up in coordinating costumes. We've done the Wizard of Oz and Fairytales in recent years.

Have you heard about the Battle of the Creative Teams over at DigiScrapAddicts? It's a showdown between the CTs over all of DigiLand. I am on Happys Scrap Girl's Team called Happy's Scrap Girls. Hope everyone had a great 4th! I spent it with my family-kinda low key but that's how I like things! Even got a mini-family portrait since my mom was in town! Aren't we a good looking bunch??!

Let's see...it has been quite awhile since I last blogged. I do have a good excuse though! We've moved from Georgia to the Mountains of Virginia. We are still getting situated after two months-with plenty of boxes left to empty. The good news though is I am now WIRELESS-woo-hoo! So now I can be ANYWHERE in my house and be online. Love that!

Layouts, Layouts, Layouts and a MOVE

Wow-has it really been over a month already? We have lots going on-selling our house, buying a new one, getting ready for a BIG move to Virginia. Leaving the close friends I have made here in Georgia-to go where I do not know a soul. On the bright side, I will be eight hours closer to my extended family-something I am thrilled about!

Still, I keep scrapping. It is my refuge right now!

So here's some new stuff I have created in the last month or so.

First, from this AWESOME new collab kit Itty Bitty from Erica Zane and Britt-ish Designs (I just love the brown, pink and blue color combo in this one)-

Here's one I did of Nathan at five days old-

Sya's Blueprints released this new boy kit-The Boys are Back! This one is tons of fun-with bold, bright colors and lots of brown shades. There is an awesome premade cluster too.

Here's one I scrapped of Nathan and his first wheelchair.

Sya also released a new template pack this week-called Room for Photos (set 2)-so for all of you Project 365 gals-this one can fit 7 photos on one page-WOO-HOO! You can also pick this up right now in the ScrapMatters shop for only $1.

Since I scrapped both Nathan and Erin's baby pics this week-I thought it was only fair to do a Gigi page as well. I used some extra paper instead of 7 pics-so these templates are WAY versatile. And isn't this kit just GORGEOUS...it's called Secret Sage by Erica Zane.

Courtney Wilson also has some new stuff-and she's now selling at The Digichick in addition to Plain Digital Wrapper. Be sure to check out her chore chart kit called Brownie Points and the coordinating kit called Little Giggles. She also has the boy versions Beware of the Boy and Get the Job Done too-so be sure to check those out.

A few new fabulous kits out-
First up....Erica Zane's Josh of the Jungle-perfect for scrapping those boy..and bugger pics!

Here's NatieBug and Daddy way back when-wasn't he so cute (still is).

Breeza's Candied Christmas is not your traditional Christmas kit. The colors are very light and summery-since Bree hails from Australia-and Christmas falls in the summertime down under. I had lots of fun playing with this kit during a Speed Scrap over at ScrapMatters-hosted by Bree. If you've never done a Speed Scrap-you should really try it. You have two hours and a set of directions to come up with a layout. The prizes are always WAY COOL too!

This is one I did of Erin from last Christmas. I love the colors on this one-and those ornaments were fun to play with!

Courtney Wilson has a HUGE new Christmas kit-The Goose is Getting Fat. The designers over at Plain Digital Wrapper, along with a few others, have a great charity kit out - For Unto Us - for Courtney's BRAND NEW nephew-a micropreemie-who is fighting the NICU battle. Unfortunately, his identical twin brother, Baby Dex , didn't survive. You can read more about this great cause and Baby Crew over at Plain Digital Wrapper and crewsjourney.blogspot.com.

I am going to try this blogging thing yet again. You see, I have Bugger's CaringBridge site-so I've neglected this a bit. But I am back...and I have a new hobby. I have gone DIGITAL-as in scrapbooking. It is just impossible for me to do traditional scrappin' right now-as I have too many helpers who like to get into everything (and eat it too). I now have a gallery of my artwork-and the link will be over on the right for your viewing pleasure. My goal is to get 3 digital layouts done per mont-that will give me 150+ a year. I will then get the finished layouts bound in a Shutterfly book. How fun is that?

Pumpkin Patch Visit

So I wanted to take the kiddos to a local pumpkin patch for some pics. Hey..any opportunity for a scrapbook page and I am all over it. The Bugger was a little miserable-as it was 84 degrees out and silly mommy dressed him in corduroy overalls. But he was just too darn cute in them! The Beaner really liked all of the "Mum-mins" too!

Songs of Love

There is this awesome charity called "Songs of Love" who make songs for chronically or critically ill children. I sent away for one for the Bugger and we received it this summer. It is a terrific song and Bugger just loves it (and so does Beaner). Anyway, I finally just got the "Thank You" made for it and it will go off in the mail tomorrow!

Georgia won 14-9 versus Mississippi- So the Bulldogs remain undefeated. Let's see how long that will last as the good old rival of Tennessee is fast approaching (this Saturday). At least it is a home game. Here's the Bulldogs newest cheerleader!

So, I have been into Paper Piecing lately. Like I have so much extra time! I make lots of things with bears. I don't know why-I just do. It makes me happy. I also sell them on Ebay. Not really for the money-although money is nice (don't get me wrong!) I like to see how much stuff will sell for and because I enjoy making things for others to enjoy! My latest obsession has been with flowers. I have made a hydrangea, lilac, pansy, and now a daisy. I have a few more in the works-a tulip, rose, and daffodil. Can't wait to try those out.
